Kim Max White and Lori Buxton came to me to create their logo {for print and web} and branding elements including this web header.
They were two diversely different women with unique experiences of the world beholding different ideas… and they needed me to intuit their company vision into something powerfully visual that would create lasting impact.
Some of the ideas in our initial brainstorming session of requests to come through in the look were:
- an influential, reaching-with-frequency-look.
- liked the feel of the nourish sun colors and the psychology behind golden light.
- Mentioned something about neon lights and cosmic sort-of-energies.
- Image to represent two diverse unique individuals – reputation in CA community is two powerful women able to do a lot of great things who are personable, tangible, trust-worthy. When they walk in the room, there’s a white light, magnet (people will talk to them) Their defenses are down. People will sit down and help. They believe in them, will help – servant leaders. {Lori is the analytical side, Max a creative element.}
- Able to connect to diverse clientele.
- Smart business person doesn’t need to be an expert, MMH will be that. Handle obstacles and remove fear factor of web.
- Global marketing.
- Movement with polish.
- Colors to be bronzy gold {to copper} and blue to communicate quality and business. Combined with dark blues. Richness and maturity.
- Men target heavy.
- Fusion – atomic, neutron, electron, (art + science in marketing – artistic version.)
